What is a postgraduate degree?

Postgraduate education is the fourth-stage educational level, and follows the completion of an undergraduate degree at a college or university. Graduate school is an example of quaternary education. Masters-level degrees are considered as part of post graduate education. Also postdoctoral positions are considered as being postgraduate studies.
